Ways to Get Involved
There's a role for everyone in this village — whether you're a birth worker, a neighbor, a provider, or just someone who believes Black mothers deserve better.
Volunteer as a Doula
Trained doulas and birth workers can join our volunteer network to provide supported births for families in need through Mama Doula Inc.
Refer a Client
Healthcare providers, midwives, OBs, and social workers — send your patients to us. We'll ensure they receive continuous, culturally centered care.
Donate to Mama Doula Inc.
Your donation funds free doula services, herbal wellness kits, and community education for families who can't afford private care.
Spread the Word
Follow, share, and tag us. Every share reaches a mother who may not know support exists. Social media advocacy is free and powerful.
Partner with Us
Hospitals, clinics, nonprofits, and businesses — let's build formal partnerships to expand the reach of culturally competent maternal care across NYC.
Host a Workshop
Open your community space, church, school, or business for a Monstera Roots maternal health education event. We bring the knowledge, you bring the community.
